Responding to injuries to Petr Cech and Marek Jankulovski, Karel Bruckner has included three new names in the Czech squad for Euro qualifiers against Slovakia (November 17th) and Cyprus (November 21st).
Alongside Jaromir Blazek, Cech?s usual deputy, Viktoria Plzen?s rising star Michal Danek and Anderlecht?s unsung hero Daniel Zitka have been called up.
As cover for Jankulovski, there?s also a first chance for Sparta Praha defender Michal Kadlec in the senior squad.
Perhaps surprisingly, Milan Baros keeps his place, despite a lack of first team football at Olympique Lyonnais.
