Cette homme, probablement un homme d'affaire vue ses vétements et son poid, rentre dans sa voitures.

Soudain un malfrat le cogne, l'homme est un juré, il a condamné le malfrat à faire de la prison, ce dernier à voulue ce venger.
Le malfrat prend sa voiture, son argent et tue l'homme, avant de le jeter dans la Manche... On ne le retrouvera plus"

The shady take his car, his money and kill the man, before throwing him in the Channel... We'll never find him

(Je crois que "thug" veut dire "malfrat" en anglais, mais j'en suis pas completement sûr)

couple important details

w/ 'il a condamne" - it's past tense so it's best to translate it as such. otherwise everyone would be confused. And "ce dernier a voulu se venger" should be in past tense as well.

first sentence, "illumines" doesn't act as a verb - it's an adjective modifying etoiles. Thusly, one should translate it as illuminated/bright/brilliant stars. However, that would mean that we would have no verb in the sentence. That's a weird one.

homme d'affaires is less awkward if one translates it as businessman, and 'owing to' is a bit heavy as well. I'd prefer 'given'.

'jure' means a person who stands as part of the jury in a court of justice. So the best translation would be "Suddnely, a thug hits him. The businessman stood as part of the/a jury, and..." The sentence here is really poorly written, the comma should be erased a a period put in instead. What a mess.

I realise all of those points. I kept it in present tense in order to make it smoothly...it's not necessary to translate everything directly you know.

what? it makes no sense chronologically if you say that the businessman condemns him to prison and the thug wants to take his revenge at the same times as the story's events. The desire to take revenge and the action itself stem from what happened beforehand.

direct translation is not necessary but completely changing the chronological sense of the story is simply incorrect.

I'm pretty sure I didn't change the chronological movement of the storytoo much...it was odd enough to begin with. It starts of present tense, goes to the past (despite the fact that those events happened after) then goes back to the present...really odd.

while i'm in complete accord that the story is extremely weird, i don't think you understood it correctly. The part wherein whoever the writer is goes into the past tense, is supposed to be in past tense. He's trying to describe the motivation of the thug when he attacks the businessman (e.g. because the businessman was part of the jury that sentenced him to prison [presumably for an earlier crime]), and then the story moves on to the murder of the man during the attack - two seperate plotlines.

J'aurais du mal à faire ça puisque chuis canadian plutôt qu'anglais. Cela dit je crois que c'est la même chose en Angleterre...mais j'en suis pas certain et alors me citez pas si j'ai tort. Ce dont je suis sûr est qu'on pourrait dire "makes the hair stand on the back of the neck" aussi, ou quelquechose de similaire.
