Are there many English speakers on here? I assume there will be a few Canadians.

Anyway, I'm from Leeds in the north of England. I'm on this site to help me learn French by seeing it in common use by all you lovely people, I also speak a little bit of German.

In don't think that you are in the right place to improve your french, cause no one here writes very well french
I mean that there are misspellings and/or errors in syntax & grammar in almost each post.
Sometimes it's near the way we speek, but nevertheless there are loads of bullshits here which might be totally useless for you.
Perhaps you'll learn some slang words(like "le français, tu peux pas test"
), but in the other hand it can affect your academic understanding of french.
So be carefull

>> Vu qu'il n'y a pas de possessifs "my", ça fait pas trés jolie à la traduction, au mieux c'est "mon coeur bat"

Prison break is an amazing TV series,
actually, because of the strike, all my favourite series stop production (NCIS S5, Grey's anatomy S4, Prison Break, 24 that was programmed in 2008, will be available in 2009...) , and then i must wait more, but untill when???
